The Angsana Spa is located on the 7th floor of the Sheraton Hotel in Bangalore. The intent of the design was to create a luxurious, private and cosy environment with warm tones and soothing light. The Spa is divided on two floor with the reception, salon and tea rooms on the upper floor and treatment rooms on the lower floor connected via a sculptural staircase. The facade had been designed as glazed modules that form a louvered funnel that leads to the reception. The louvered screen looks over the retail counter on one side and the waiting lounge on the other.
